When to visit and where.

China is a huge country covering more than 9 million square kilometres. It has so much for travellers to see and explore, and it has a lot of different climates. The good news is that there is always a destination you can visit at any time of the year and still experience comfortable cool weather. 

If it is your first ever trip to China, we recommend heading to the most famous landmarks in Xian, Beijing and Shanghai. Here you will get a great feel for Chinese culture, architecture, temples – and the vibrancy of Chinese city life. These are also the destinations where you can experience the Great Wall, the infamous Terracotta Army and other national treasures and heritage sites.
